Highlights of Athens are the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora. We based ourselves here to explore north to Delphi and south to Corinth and Mycenae.

Delphi is at the heart of Ancient Greece and is a memorable and worthwhile destination. The pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, where Apollo's oracle delivered prophecies, was home to the omphalos, the 'navel of the world'. Seamlessly blending with the stunning landscape and rich in sacred significance, Delphi in the 6th century B.C. was truly the religious hub and emblem of unity for the ancient Greek world.
The ruins of ancient Corinth, including the remarkable Temple of Apollo and the expansive Roman Forum, stand as a testament to the city's rich and varied history. Mycenae ranks among the most significant archaeological sites in Greece.

Crete is the birthplace of the Minoans, Europe's first advanced civilization. The island boasts a diverse landscape with rugged mountains and beautiful coastlines. The two main cities are Heraklion on the eastern tip and Chania at the western tip of the island.

Santorini is a stunning place to relax and take in the beautiful shades of blue from the Mediterranean to the domes and doors against whitewashed stucco buildings. It can get a bit overrun with tourists on the main strips, but once you get away from that craziness, you can escape to a place where you could imagine the greek gods took their vacations.
