Traveling down the Nile with sails up in such an intimate surrounding was definitely a two thumbs up way to go! As I think back on what made the Nile so special, it was taking in the view of the shore, the green, lush strip with beautiful lagoons and thousands of birds against the stark contrast of the dessert.
